PIQF was such a great show this year! I went for one day - the last day - and I’m so glad I made the 45 minute drive to the South Bay to check it out. If you haven’t been to PIQF before, it usually is in October, but this year they held it in July. It worked out well for me, since October is a tricky time of year to sneak away from my routine.
I have only been to a handful of quilt shows, and this one definitely is an exciting one! The scale is not as large as Modern Quilt Guild’s QuiltCon, but is a bit larger than the San Francisco Quilt Guild’s QuiltSF. It’s a nice happy medium of a quilt show and can be (quickly) seen in a day if you’re well hydrated and feeling energized.
There are a lot of classes and workshops that are offered and the show floor is intermingled with vendors of all sorts. It’s really a fun experience!
