Punkie Parade Quilt Pattern Launch

Introducing the Punkie Parade Quilt

Fall is easily one of my favorite times of year. For the most part, the weather here in San Francisco stays the same - we don’t get the glorious change of season as most other parts of the country do. However, the infamous fog (fondly named Karl) that covers the city in the summer months fizzles away, and we have a month or two of beautiful, cool weather from September to October. Tiny pumpkin patch lots start popping up all over the city, businesses start decorating their storefronts with Halloween-themed decor, and the city begins to buzz with excitement over the changes. I wanted to bring a little bit of the festivity of the fall into my quilt design this year, and Punkie Parade is a sweet representation of the simplicity of the season.

This is the Layer Cake version using the Ruby Star Society Honey collection. Isn’t it so fun and festive?!

Simple. Festive. FUN!

This pattern is rated at a Beginner level, is all traditionally pieced, and has options for Yardage assembly or Layer Cake assembly.

Cover sample uses the Yardage assembly option and fabrics were supplied by Riley Blake Designs from the Autumn Afternoon collection. Layer Cake sample uses Ruby Star Society fabrics from the Honey collection.

Punkies in Ruby Star Eye Candy!

These fun and funky punkies were made by Angie (@QuiltyShug) using the Ruby Star Society Eye Candy collection and a scrappy black background. These sweet and fun fabrics make such a statement on the Punkie Parade Quilt. Angie did a fabulous job bringing all the fun to the season!

Good Spirits!

The new Halloween themed collection from Ruby Star Society, Good Spirits, is brings a spooky season vibe to these punkies!

Sophisticated Halloween!

This collection from Riley Blake Designs works so well as a Yardage version of the Punkie Parade Quilt! It would look so great as a focal point in your living room during the season!
