Do you ever feel a deep, driving energy inside you just waiting to come out?

I’ve felt on the edge of things for most of my life, feeling like I’m chasing something that I’m not entirely sure I’ll be able to catch. Always wanting to see what comes next, feeling like I need to set the next goal and reach it as quick as I can. However, I often get side tracked with life’s obligations and demands. Fast forward to 2020, I’ve found myself running circles in my small San Francisco home that I share with my partner, two kiddos, dog, and cat. I decided to take the plunge into the quilting world after dabbling here and there - and what a plunge it’s been! Not only did I advance my skill set, but I took a risk on a whim and signed up for Alderwood Studio’s Pattern Writing Academy. I was thinking I would simply take the course, learn the tricks of the trade and work on personal patterns that I can create myself.

Wow. Was I in for a major life shift.

Since the course, I’ve gained a greater sense of purpose and a channel for my passionate energy to move. Creating my own quilt designs felt so freeing to me. To be able to walk the journey from inspiration and idea to actual tangible product felt so gratifying. I’m so happy I took this path and I’m so incredibly excited to share my passion with you all.
