Castro Quilt Pattern (PDF Download)

A beginner friendly pattern to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and is directly inspired the Castro District in San Francisco. This quilt uses a three dimensional element in the ribbon ripple that spans across the quilt.

Pattern is traditionally pieced and offers a variety of sizes: Baby (48” x 48”); Throw (58” x 64”); Twin (58” x 80”); and Bed (87” x 96”). Pattern includes instructions for a seven (7) color ribbon option as well as scrappy ribbon option.

Because of the three-dimensional nature of this quilt, it is a perfect candidate for hand quilting or straight line quilting on a domestic machine. Digital edge-to-edge quilting is not advised, as it would interfere with the ribbons.
